02What ArchiApp does — and what it does not

ArchiApp compares a photograph of a surface against a catalogue of decors and returns the closest matches, each with a percentage, the manufacturer code, available board formats and the distributors that stock it.

The percentage is a measure of visual similarity, not a certificate. Lighting, camera, viewing angle and screen calibration all move it. A high score is a strong lead, not proof of identity.

Before you order material, cut a panel or sign off on a specification, confirm the decor against a physical sample from the manufacturer or distributor. ArchiApp is a tool for narrowing the field quickly; it does not replace that final check, and we are not liable for material ordered on the strength of a match alone.

03Your account

You can scan and browse without an account. You need one to keep favourites and history across devices, and to use the distributor portal.

Give us accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your login until you do.

Choose a password of at least ten characters with upper case, lower case and a digit. Changing it signs out every other device, which is the behaviour you want if something has gone wrong.

04Acceptable use

Use ArchiApp for identifying and sourcing materials. Do not use it to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, or to upload content you have no right to upload.

Do not scrape, bulk-download or resell the catalogue, do not try to reconstruct the matching engine from its outputs, and do not attempt to reach data belonging to another account.

Automated access is welcome through the public API under its own terms and rate limits, not by driving the app or the website with scripts.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where the breach is minor and fixable, we will say so first.

05The photos you upload

Your photos remain yours. You grant us the limited licence we need to run the service: to store the image, compute a fingerprint from it, match it and show it back to you in your own history.

That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account. We do not use your photos in marketing, do not license them onward, and do not train third-party models on them.

You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it is a photograph of a material or surface rather than something unrelated.

06Catalogue data and prices

Decor names, article codes, collections and board formats come from manufacturer catalogues. Prices, availability and lead times are published by distributors through the portal and shown with the date they were last updated.

We keep the catalogue as current as we can, but we do not warrant that any particular price, stock status or specification is correct at the moment you read it. The binding figure is always the offer the distributor gives you directly.

ArchiApp is not a shop. We do not sell material, do not take payment for it, and are not a party to any contract you conclude with a distributor.

07If you publish prices as a distributor

You are responsible for everything you publish: prices, currency, availability, lead times, minimum order quantities and branch details. Keep them accurate and current — a stale price costs you the enquiry and costs us trust.

You confirm you are entitled to sell the articles you list and to use the manufacturer names attached to them.

We may remove an entry that is plainly wrong or misleading, and may suspend a portal account that repeatedly publishes prices it will not honour. Portal subscription terms, where they apply, are agreed separately in writing.

08Intellectual property

The ArchiApp name, the interface, the design system and the matching engine belong to us. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service — nothing more.

EGGER, KRONOSPAN, KAINDL and every other manufacturer name and decor code are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them descriptively, to identify the products they refer to, and claim no association with or endorsement by those companies.

09Availability and changes

We aim to keep ArchiApp available continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider incidents and things outside our control all happen; we announce planned downtime in advance where we can.

We may add, change or retire features. If we retire something you rely on, and you have an account, we will tell you before it goes.

10Liability

ArchiApp is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost contracts, wasted material or the cost of remaking a piece of furniture — arising from reliance on a match, a price or an availability figure.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. For a free account, that amount is zero.

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Consumer rights under Serbian law are unaffected.

11Ending the agreement

You can stop using ArchiApp and close your account whenever you like; deletion follows the timetable in the privacy policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will explain why unless the law prevents us. The sections on intellectual property, liability and governing law survive the end of the agreement.

12Governing law

Serbian law governs these terms. If we cannot resolve a dispute between us directly, the courts of Belgrade have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your country of residence.

13Changes to these terms

We update the date at the top when these terms change. For a material change we email account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use ArchiApp after that date means you accept the new version; if you do not, close your account before then.
